I think it must get its data from Automated Weather Stations, which replaced humans in Australia about a month ago. No more lighthouse rainfall collecting for you, Eric. That is why there are some gaps. and BlackLeotardFront, look at the free version of this. It told me I needed to wear a jacket when I popped in 90210 as a zip code cause it's "not very warm out". It's 57 °F / 14 °C there. I beg to differ on the jacket issue! I might, however, recommend a light sweater.

It's 54 degrees Fahrenheit and it tells me I need a jacket. At work today, someone caught a shoplifter and mentioned that they weren't wearing a jacket to hide more things in. I was shocked, I had been outside less than 10 minutes before and it was 41 degrees out. My coworker described 41 as nice out, and I questioned whether a winter of 0-20 has made us celebrate every degree above freezing. Then again, when I was in High School, guys would wear shorts in January.

This is extremely useful. However, it's probably easier and faster to call up my mom. She may be sleeping, in another state, in a different time zone and have absolutely no idea what the weather is like where i am, but she can, without fail, tell me exactly when i need a jacket, and what kind of jacket i will need. And she will Always be right. I learned when i was young that resistance is absolutely futile, if mom says you need a jacket, then you will absolutely freeze your ass off if you choose not to bring one.

look at the free version of this. The prob w/ WeatherBug is it puts tons of spyware on your system and is a bitch to get rid of, it doesn't come w/ an uniinstall feature.

I think they need to take into account the fact that someone in "Canada will be perfectly happy going jacketless in 8-10 degree weather while someone in the Southern US would want to bundle up.
