Droogle it (and give me a double) Taking a large page from Google suggests, this is dynamic search at it's slurriest. The Liquor cabinet, which locates drink recipes based on your available ingredients, seems a bit buggy, but it's a great idea.

I'm sure someone else has made something like this already.

I'm Feeling Thirsty: Sorry, your search terms did not return any results.

This is really similar to the webtender. Which is an excellent resource, even if the interface is a bit hard to use.

I have a little pocket-sized computer database that does exactly this. Made by Franklin, same guys that do the pocket dictionaries, etc.

iDrink has been doing the "find recipes based on your current stock of ingredients" thing for at least a few years now. The one thing I really wanted from them, though, was a "random drink" button. Whenever I'm sitting around, want a drink, but want to try something new, that link would be nice.

schyler523 D'aww, I didn't think it was a comment worthy of being thought of as a Metafilter slogan.

It's funny how the huge AdultFriendFinder ad ruins the whole Google-esque look.

Swervo, Webtender has the "random drink" function.

my vodka soysauce drink sucked.

And most of the vodka drinks were "just vodka" despite the fact that my list included cloves, honey, cinnamon, butter, salt and pepper, coconut milk, worcester, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, cardamon, hot tea, salsa and scrambled eggs.

But I did think it cool that they offered as an ingredient a medium wendy's frosty.

What, no Liquid Plumber?

Shoot the vodka straight, and make scrambled eggs with salsa. Problem solved.

I will bookmark Liquor Cabinet, thanks. The interface isn't as gloomy and it's easier to use than most of the others and it handled Pisco nicely.

I should add that throwing sugar in a blender is probably not the best way to get a Pisco Sour.
