Homeless given Cigarettes to vote for Gore - Would they have wanted that kind of help if it wasn't caught on video tape? Maybe they should just steal the social security numbers of the dead and have THEM vote via mail-in. (See also: Zombies for Gore) [Links via Fark]

Can I have liquor or something else instead of cigarettes. I don't smoke.

If you want liquor, you've got to get that from the Bush campaign.

Man, they could have a wild tie-in with the motor votor bill.

Get your driver's license, register to vote, vote bush, get a 6 of Busch Light, get trashy and drive to victory this November!

Wow. Dubya trips over a word, and we get 50 comments on what an idiot he is. Gore supporters involved in election fraud...

(tumbleweed blows by...)

Sure is quiet around here.

Dubya = Dubya

Gore supporters =/= Gore

My grandmother used to tell me that come election-time in Chicago during the Forties and Fifties -- and maybe even earlier -- they'd all be trucked over to some reception center and wined and dined like kings and queens till it came time for everyone to vote. Then the precinct captain would lead them over to the polling place. They even had "caviar", she enthused.

I think we've lost something since then -- both in quality of candidate and quality of spread.

EngineBeak: I understand that Gore was not directly responsible for this. But it was an official representative of the Democratic Party. There most likely will be criminal charges. For this, we get 5 measly comments... none of them decrying their actions, regardless of their relationship to the candidate?? Come on.

Screw the criminal charges. I wish I could have got some cigarettes for voting. Or caviar. There wasn't even coffee this morning.

Dan, I see you're taking "official representative" in a rather widely-defined light. These people should be punished, but it's obviously an isolated incident.

I'm offering sex to attractive single women who vote for Nader.
