This webpage sucks. Why on earth, in the third millenium, do you present your users a javascript alert when they right and middle click? i mean come on. I use my scroll wheel for...scrolling.

I'm not sure I get the point of this site at all. Why would anyone want to pay $204 dollars a year to look at scans of old magazine ads? I mean, they're cool to browse through but not enough to spend a hundreds of dollars on. I'm I missing something?

Why on earth, in the third millenium, do you present your users a javascript alert when they right and middle click?

Funny, the right/middle click protection doesn't even work in Firefox. I get the warning + the right click menu with the option to save the image.

You have to be a paying member to do anything, apparently. Even if i'd been willing to throw 200 bucks in there, I can I even know what I am going to find behind those javascript blockers ?

My next door neighbor had one of these.

Has anyone ever seen a copy of this game? I bet it would be fun.

(There are some fun free ads to see. Not shelling out to be a member though!)

adflip used to be free for all, and still is a vast archive really useful for ad-addicts like myself. There are other websites out there that have pillaged adflips large (printable) scans and re-posted them on the web, which may explain why they have started to use that javathingie. I have no idea how they get the reproduction rights for all those ads however....I see no place where I could submit the ads that I made one upon a time for example.

That Nixon game looks nuts. :)

I love Ephemera Now - his focus is the artistry of the ads in the 50s and 60s, especially cars. And it's free!

Thanks SashaPT, I'd never seen Ephemera Now, lots of cool stuff on there. Now, I want a 1960 Frontenac! What a great name for a car.

Wow, people, please read! It's $204 for a year. You can get a month's access for $34 and week's access for $14. You could easily exploit the archives withiin one of those periods.
