Wearing a shiny red hard-hat could be the latest way to gauge brain activity on the cheap, Aussie researchers report.

One wonders if this could be used as some sort of lie-detecting device as well (on the grounds that one hemisphere might be more active than the other when fabricating a story, as opposed to recalling an actual memory).
