It's too bad Enders is dead. I'm sure Bush would've nominated him for something.

Hmm. A webpage showing that a funeral of a powerful, wealthy man was attended by other powerful, wealthy men. Some one like me might look at that and say, "huh. homophily." Or maybe I would even comment on the closed nature of the old boy's network.

Clearly, I would miss the obvious conclusion that "the military and economic decisionmakers are two fingers on the same fist."

(This is not to say that they aren't. But asserting it based on a 9-year old funeral program??)

The only interesting part of the whole thing is from the comments:

REPUBLICANS: Let's kill everyone and take their money!
DEMOCRATS: I like the way you're thinking. I really do. But if we keep at least SOME of them alive and working for us, we can make even MORE money in the long run!
REPUBLICANS: You commie!

Hmmm, the former Secretary of State for American affairs dies after 30+ years as a diplomat, and his funeral is attended by government and business leaders from Latin America, as well as by people from the State Department and friend's of his old Connecticut family. Sounds like conspiracy to me.
