Second chance

Good news for bird lovers. Last seen in 1944, video posted to Science yesterday confirms the existence of the ivory-billed woodpecker, alive and well in Arkansas. We have a second chance to save the largest woodpecker in the United States.

Wouldn't it be cool if the people who posted to MeFi actually read Mefi?
: )

(Been there, done that. If it's the worst thing you do today, you are alright by me.)

No, let's kill him or at least strap him to an eel.

caution live frogs: What they mean to say is please search MeFi for previous posts before sending out a duplicate. I've done it before, and the response can be down right nasty. None of the above comments are bad at all, compared to what sometimes comes raining down.
Just a friendly warning.

Wow! Two sitings in two days! I'm geeked.

And I, for one, welcome our new ivory-billed overloards. (Just had to say that.)

And I can't spell "sighting".

Actually, I retract the characterization of that MeTa thread as a "callout".
