I don't have an emotional attachment to flies or anything, but stuff like this is mean, even if you're only(?) hurting little insects that most people don't like much. Bad karma.

When I was in high school, and meaner than I am now, I successfully put flies on long leashes made out of human hair. They'd fly in circles. Even then, though, this fly plane would have been too cruel for me.

Sadly from what I understand it won't work cuz the trigger to make a fly fly is to have its feet leave the ground. Flies don't actually think about flying they just jump up. These flies feet are glued to the wings. Their wings won't flap.

If you reverse the "fuselage" matchstick, you can then light the head of the match without damaging the flies... Let the heat from the flame warm them up until they get active, then blow out the match. Plane takes off, and the smoking tail should leave a nice smoke trail. (of course this is all in theory of course...) Forgot to give props Not necessary. You have flies. *rimshot*

You know, I bet you could do much the same thing with four sparrows or other little birds. Or it would be possible to make a little snail SUV. The possibilities are endless, the cruelty is bottomless, huzzah! Let's go torture stuff!

A better method is to glue male larval flies (maggots) to one plane, and female larval flies (maggottes) to another, and watch them grow up relating to each other in a whole new way! ...A more compassionate use of earth's wee ones (and more fun) than Sea Monkeys.
