OK - a quote from the main page of the "Omnipelagos" page...

* George Burns
[Life] Burns had been lifelong friends with Jack Benny and Benny was originally slated to make the film
* Jack Benny
    Benny was an influential comedy innovator, a major architect of the modern forms of standup comedy and situation comedy
* Stand-up comedy
    Stand-up expanded from nightclubs and theaters to major concerts in sports arenas. Richard Pryor and George Carlin
* Richard Pryor
    On June 1, 1980, Pryor set himself on fire while free-basing cocaine. This was a suicide attempt
* Cocaine
    ???
* George Bush

WTF? Is this supposed to be satire? Humour?

Kinda interesting, but of limited use IMO...

WTF? Is this supposed to be satire? Humour?

Can't it just be fun?

As a pony, though, I'd like to see the option to exclude specific entries for a search. For example, the matches (with the default settings) for Pope Benedict XVI -> Calvin and Hobbes all go through either John Calvin or Thomas Hobbes. OK, not all that surprising, but what if I want a path that doesn't go through either of those? In this case, you can find such a path by choosing "Look for more obscure, but longer paths" under the Search Strategy option, but it would be nice to be able to exclude specific entries.

Paris Hilton
[Paris Hilton as sex symbol] It has also been rumored that there exists a video featuring Paris in a lesbian sex romp with her friend
Lesbian
[Etymology] The word "lesbian" originally referred to an inhabitant of the island of Lesbos, in ancient Greece.
Lesbos
it was home to the poets Sappho and Alcaeus. Aristotle and Epicurus both also spent some time there.
Aristotle

Come on -- give it up! Paris Hilton to Aristotle in four steps -- with a detour through Lesbos, to boot!

MetaFilter
    [Content / NewsFilter] MeFi members in February 2003 found a clear tendency to the Left on economic issues and to liberalism on social issues
Liberalism
    [Liberalism and related ideologies / Liberalism vs. social democracy] lies in their views regarding the role of the state in the economy. Social democracy seeks to achieve a certain extent of equality of outcomes
Equality of outcome
    In theory, equality of outcome can be contrasted with equal opportunity
Equal opportunity
    Social groupings generally emphasized in such a way are those delineated by aspects of gender, race
Sex

Gee, just like college -- dropping by women's studies forums to pick up chicks. High-minded, aren't we?

MetaFilter
    [Community] Metafilter was founded by Matthew Haughey in 1999. From its humble beginnings as a gathering spot for webloggers to trade links
Matthew Haughey
    Matthew Haughey (born October 10, 1972) is the founder of the community weblog MetaFilter, where he is known as
Weblog
    [History / Blogging goes mainstream] Glenn Reynolds and Markos Moulitsas Zúniga appear on the radio, and Ana Marie Cox, better known as Wonkette
Ana Marie Cox
    the site and its author have gained notoriety in the political world for publicizing the story of Jessica Cutler
Jessica Cutler
    (Republican - Ohio), including sleeping with a high-level Republican who she claims paid her $400 for sex.
Sex

Now that's more like it. But does Matt need to blog it?

Once again: Wikipedians on MeFi are invited to check in.

    Such a website would typically be accessible to any Internet user. "Weblog" is a portmanteau of "web" and "log".

    [Methods of forming] The beginning of one word is prepended to the end of the other, e.g., breakfast + lunch = brunch.
