Hasbro loses fight to steal Clue.com from Clue Computing.Finding that there was no significant evidence to establish the likelihood of confusion necessary for conventional trademark infringement and no evidence of "dilution", The US Court of Appeals rejected the claim that the "clue.com" violates Hasbro's trademark on the board game "Clue". Score one for the little guy

Well, Parker Brothers is owned by Hasbro, a company that owns a bunch of other toy brands.

Well, I know they own Wizards of the Coast, which owns TSR. They also own Microprose.

Well there's Mattel, they swear they *own* the web. Ask Matt Lavallee, or anyone with the name Barbie^® in their domain name.

Usually we're not happy to find out that a major corporation is Clue-less ...

There was a lot of consolidation in the toys & games industry in the 90s. Hasbro ended up pretty big, but so did Mattel, which is number one.

What's the big deal?? Here in the UK, the game's called CLUEDO anyway...... did they try and get that domain?

There - just answered my own question - http://www.cluedo.com does both 'Clue' and 'Cluedo' - they got one - just sound like sore losers to me!
