Was she trying to steal the car? Kidnap the boy? or just trying to teach the father a lesson? I guess the judge will decide. But definately...never leave your keys OR your kids in the car. *warning, not an election thread*

It's weird that the lady seemed to have done it to teach him a lesson. But this is unfortunately not all that uncommon of an occurance. There was, just a few months ago, an incident in Kansas City in which a father left his keys in his running car outside a convenience store with his child in the backseat. Someone stole the car and later ditched it when they found the kid in the backseat. Or something like that, I can't remember the details. In any case, the parents who leave their children unattended in cars should be charged with criminal neglect, as well.
