Having made films in college, it feels like I've seen this film a hundred times. Classical music mixed with a tale of whimsy combined with a one-note joke that goes on for too long. Oh, and then add a dead art form (dance). Maybe I just don't get dance. I mean, come on. Professional dancers. Really?

Wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, billysumday? Obviously, you don't get it. I found it charming. There are even professional musicians, too, if you can wrap your mind around that. Imagine...professional artists...what a concept.

I'm just pleased to see that people outside of my hometown, the world headquarters of John Deere, go crazy for that company's implements.

Well, I thought the film was very charming and sweet, and I spent a lot of time checking out Mitchell Rose's other movies. My favorite was "ASDICT" too; I haven't laughed out loud for that long at a film in a while, so take that for what it's worth. (I liked The Straight Story too, billysumday -- I think there's room in the world for both).

My one quibble: whomever drove the Excavator 690E-LC deserves a screen credit, even at the expense of the punchline of listing the model only. The way the operator handled it took real finesse!

Thanks, stacyhall1. Rose is new to me, too. That was great. And I agree with melissa may ... ASDICT was laugh out loud funny. I also like Elevator World, which is more subdued.
