excellent stuff here-- the look at a German teen magazine and how more explicit and body-positive it is especially.

they're all PDFs, by the way : >

Yeah... I was checking that one out, as well; It could just as easily have been a Greek teen magazine. Completely different "ethical" considerations than the U.S., and not very unlikely to show a penis or two, especially if conveniently juxtaposed with a celebrity focus page. ALWAYS likely to be showing the girl-booty, ALL the time.

It's really very tiresome, though. It may just seem more "f r e e" than the U.S. versions, but it's exactly the same thing, without the bewildering puritanism.

I'm not really sure which country to be more ashamed of.

(no, I'm not; I lie. I'm always more ashamed of the U.S. versions of stuff like this. For sure.)

My world is complete now that I know that there is actually a magazine called "Crappie World". Thanks, MLIS!

So funny. Now that I've been through the magazine job hunting process, I recognize names.

I kinda preferred the magazine review in Grand Royal where they based their ratings on which mags offerred the best surfaces for cleaning weed.
