It seems that Chad Lucas and Gary Joseph both have had their identity stolen by the guy who feeds the hippos.

I don't own a computer either, I've never even used a computer. I do, however, have one of those watches with the little, tiny, buttons that i can use to add and subtract and even multiply and probably divide, but I don't think it can do square roots 'cuz those little signs are all worn off and if I didn't know where the number keys are I wouldn't even be able to add and I certainly can't find the square root sign button, if it even has one, but I don't think it does.
Why did you ask?

The gun is good. The penis is evil. The penis shoots seeds, and makes new life, and poisons the earth with a plague of men, as once it was. But the gun shoots death, and purifies the earth of the filth of brutals. Go forth and kill!

Cutting-edge satire of a two-years-gone ad campaign. Bravo.

Your shoddy C64s and other such toys could never touch the transcendant milestone of human accomplishment that was the TRS-80 with Extended Color Basic.
When the works of man lie broken beneath a fading sun and the sands of time have covered the Pyramids and Skyscrapers writ large with name of Ozymandias, the CoCo will yet stand testament to the brief glimmerings of sapiency and divinity in this rude scrabbling brood of monkeys we call civilization.

Don't leave out the TI-99. It was quite expansive, and I made my father laugh out loud when, as a young lad I made the following joke:
When you make a long distance call to a BBS through the TI's modem, you must type CALL COLLECT.
It was funnier when you were there.

Yeah, well... I hacked into my Intellivision and now it runs a cross-platform Java-unified Tiger-Lindows hybrid with voice recognition software and a music player that uses a unique vinyl-groove technology to encode sounds. Then I grafted the whole thing onto an ENIAC and housed it in a Winnebago. Awesome.

Ahem. That's the TI-99/4A.
Pikers. The PDP-6 was perfection, the rest is just a waste of perfectly good silicon. It's not like the stuff is just strewn around next to the oceans!

And here I was thinking the parodies were gonna be about switching to speaking Old English over modern English.
How disappointing.

Despite all that, it appears to be capable of finding an internet connection and letting you post to MeFi. Where can I get a watch like that?

Yeah? My TRS-80 Pocket Computer with extended RAM, BASIC pack and serial port kicks your TI99/4A's ass, and it fits in my pocket. Plus, it runs off of button batteries for like weeks on end.

Far be it from me, kind sirs, to wish the beginnings of a holy conflict, but what, prithee tell, ails ye zealots of the Macintosh? Behold, I have sat hither at my worke before a Macintosh for twice ten minutes, yet still the accursed device attempteth to copy this file, whose size be 17 Megabytes, from one folder hence unto yon folder which resideth on hither hard drive. Twice ten minutes. Behold, I tell you, at my house, my Pentium, which runneth WinNT 4, which by my troth, runneth slower than this Macintosh, the same operation taketh a mere 2 minutes at most.
Thou zealots of the Macintosh, avenge thee upon me shouldst thou wish, but I wouldst that thou rather givest cogent arguments wherefore wouldst choose thee a Macintosh, rather than a swifter system of lesser value.
