Chris Sickels and his puppet pictures

Chris Sickels (aka Red Nose Studio) makes beautiful images with various bits of wire, cardboard, fabric, paint, found objects, and most importantly, puppets.

These are terrific! I love stuff like this. I think the artist strikes just the right balance between unsettling and charming.

Those were really beautiful. Has he done any animation with them? It would be amazing to see a whole movie with such attention to detail.

Bloody gorgeous. I usually click away from a portfolio after a half-dozen items, but this kept me clicking. A shining example of the usefulness of art in the commercial world and the ability of said art to transcend its ephemeral uses.

Or, like I said, bloody gorgeous.
