		<description>(finally exiting lurk mode)

Earlier this year, on a trip to the Grand Canyon, there was a California Condor waiting for us at the end of the Plateau Point trail.  It was a juvenile (black head), and it was almost oblivious to our presence.  It was mainly preoccupied with trying to balance on a wire at the top of the guard rail, in order to get a good view of the canyon below.
