The heat is on. Great web site for climate change junkies, weather pessimists, and severe weather trackers.

Nice site, but it would be better if they did a better job linking some of their stuff to climate change stats. The lead article on teh Australian drought, for instance, doesn't mention anything about climate change. I'm willing to believe that the drought is caused by such changes, but I know that all droughts are not linked to global warming, and that the effects of GW are often paradoxical.

'The Land newspaper recently ran a drought headline -- "The cost: suicide every four days". There are around 1,000 suicides a year in rural Australia, just under 20 deaths a week.'

Shouldnt that be 4 suisides per day?

In briefing papers given before meetings to the US under-secretary of state, Paula Dobriansky, between 2001 and 2004, the administration is found thanking Exxon executives for the company's "active involvement" in helping to determine climate change policy, and also seeking its advice on what climate change policies the company might find acceptable.
