afrooz, you can't self-link. You are going to be banned for this. The accepted method of getting your link on Metafilter is to discuss the importance of your selflink in about 20 different threads and beg for someone to make an FPP out of it. A double post of a self link.... posted by R. Mutt at 10:51 AM on June 27, 2005
Point 1) frykitty: I am not an asshole, I'm a 17 year old biomedical researcher.
Point 2) Everyone else: sorry, yes I understand the policy. This post was just a follow up to respond to questions from MeFi users. Therefore, if it was from MeFi, I thought I'd put the answers up for people to see.
I don't feel like this is an egregious action, but you may delete this post, or my account. I just hope you will consider the reasoning behind this post.
Also thanks for the tip dios, I didn't know that part of it. posted by afrooz at 10:59 AM on June 27, 2005
Afrooz, your original post, to which this is a followup, was also a violation of the policy you claim to understand.
I stand by my assessment. Also: meta. posted by frykitty at 11:00 AM on June 27, 2005
