If only the term denoted one who gets a lot of boffin, I might have stuck with a straight science ticket instead of veering off into the applied sciences. As for a boffin club, didn't that end with Plato's Retreat?

Boffins, boffins, boffins! I haven't heard that word in a while and now I can't stop saying boffin. boffin. Does the term backroom boffin give you an even bigger rise? I wish I was a backroom boffin but all I am is a boffin of buffoonery.
