Fun, but it seems way way easier than Raiden. I could barely get *to* the first boss on Raiden, much less beat that boss.

For bosses I like the purple laser, since I'm spending most of my time dodging bullets and not sitting directly in front of the boss.

Purple laser kind of sucks for the bosses- not enough juice. Much better, I've found, for swatting gnats in the earlier parts of levels. I'm with mikeweekney- blue lasers + homing missiles.

Purple spaghetti laser is the ticket to kill the final boss, though. Takes a while, but you just dodge and weave until it's dead dead dead.

Wow, this is an incredibly faithful tribute. Right down to the near-indestructible secret tree with the high-scoring fairy hidden in it!

And you guys DO know that there's a difficulty setting option, yes?

Oh, the difficulty setting seems to affect only the available lives.

thanks for this.
this is definately easier than the arcade version. I spent a hell of a lot of money playing this, before movies at the mall. got much further on my first try with this than all those quarters could get me.
