Nice find! Some amazingly fun and cutting-edge material in there. I especially like the earth-not-rotating-and-it's-not-spherical-too screed. Because in your heart, you know it's flat. Also, "Arouse your marital partner incredibly with the Human Lamp." Ok! My baby's in for it tonight! Breaks the ice at parties, too.

A nice companion site: Odd things in Pitt's libraries (unfortunately, not updated for almost two years). Karunaratne, Vaasan Korkeakoulun Julkaisuja: Tutkimuksia No.90—Elokuvan Valinta: Tarkasteltuna Erityisesti Kuluttajien Eri Elokuvatyyppien Preferenssin Kannalta by Pirjo Karppinen and Kristian Möller... Well, you get the idea. They're books—and they're odd. Nice post, crunchland!

Thanks for the link. I admire anyone who would take the time to put a page like this together. These kinds of books usually get a short chuckle from me and nothing else. But, without this site I wouldn't have learned all of the (very tight) arguments for why the earth is stationary in the sky.
