Where's my Metababy? Damn it - I've waited a month! It's supposed to be back today, but it's not there. Crikey! When will I get my Trinity/Katie Holmes/suck it fix??

I emailed the Metababy guy a few hours ago asking when the new version will be up and have yet to get a response. :-( I await the return of afrench photos.

The top page has been updated: Metababy will re-open November 19, 2000. Where, um, "November 19, 2000" is defined as "Some point after November 19, 2000." Sorry about the delay.

December first and still no metababy. Kinda metaphorical of our presidential election, eh? Anybody know the story here? Or anybody got an inside track on what the new Metababy's supposed to look like?

I had wanted to point out that MetaBaby still hasn't gotten back from the dry cleaners yet and it's seven weeks after Knauss' self-imposed deadline. I was curious as to why. Then I just saw this. Anyone who hasn't already been doing so just please send warm positive whammies in his general direction. I mean it would be nice to have his sandbox to play around in again, but family comes first.

The MetaBaby front page reads: Metababy will re-open Feburary 19, 2001. For real this time. In the meantime, why not try out Metaness?
