It's a popularity contest.Aimfight is essentially Google pagerank for your buddy list. Compare yourself against your opponents and see who's on more people's buddy lists. Via slashdot.

Is there any way to determine who is number one???

I think that would be fascinating. Also... by adding the number one person to your buddy list, you would beat them, right?

a friend of mine hit the top 5% of most popular AIM users, based on this little app.... Like he needed the ego boost.

I find this program alarming accurate.
