This is very funny stuff. I first heard about it on Penny Arcade not too long ago, and spent a day going through the archives. Love it. posted by voltairemodern at 11:04 AM on July 30, 2005
I also found out about this site from Penny Arcade a few weeks ago. It alternates between being really stupid, and being really stupid and hilarious.
The master of non-sequitur is still Pokey the Penguin. (Defer judgement until you've read a hundred of them; they grow on you.) posted by Nioate at 12:40 PM on July 30, 2005

Dinosaur comics (Here's some really good ones to get you started.)
Those ones?! Pff. Clearly, thesetwo are among the best. posted by rafter at 1:34 PM on July 30, 2005
While it's not as non-sequitor as those, I've always liked the EXTREMELY NSFW and funny sexy losers posted by papakwanz at 1:54 PM on July 30, 2005
Is there a name for this genre of "minimal and poorly drawn but hilarious and witty" comics? there ought to be one. posted by Down10 at 3:05 PM on July 30, 2005
I love these threads, as I always find something new. And for now, lord, I can't stop laughing at sexy losers. posted by mkhall at 4:18 PM on July 30, 2005
Another comic in the same vein is The Parking Lot Is Full.
Perry Bible Fellowship often has a giant "wtf?" component--I'm surprised no one's mentioned it yet.
These seem to be a lot better than the other randomly selected White Ninja excerpts I've seen--thanks! posted by hototogisu at 5:08 PM on July 30, 2005
hototogisu, PBF is great. A couple weeks ago, the Rochester city paper did an interview with the guy the makes it. I didn't know that he had made some short films as well (the corn one is pretty amusing and in the same vein as his comic strip). posted by aiko at 5:57 PM on July 30, 2005
The corn one wasone of his strips. I think making it into a film ruined the pacing, but what do I know. posted by jenovus at 6:32 PM on July 30, 2005
Humor is so subjective. I'm not getting much out of White Ninja. OTOH, I don't get much out of Exploding Dog, either, and that's another strip that gets love from many people.
I love PBF, Dinosaur Comics, and A Softer World. And the saddest day in the short history of the Web was the day PLIF stopped publishing. posted by Slithy_Tove at 9:32 PM on July 30, 2005
I never got into White Ninja. Made me chuckle a couple of times, but mostly nothing. Love Dinosaur Comics, though. posted by danb at 8:42 AM on July 31, 2005
