Say Number 13? Thanks for the links jenleigh. Saw the Pixies in '89 and Frank Black solo last year or so at McCabes in Santa Monica (great show; like one long medley of half Pixies songs and half FB, with no dialog at all unlike most shows there). I missed them this time around, dang it. Storytime: During the '89 show, some eediots stage-dived during the first couple songs and FB got all peeved. He said if it happened just *one* more time, the show was over. Well, you know what happened; FB put down the guitar and walked off, followed by the guitarist and drummer. Poor wee Kim Deal just stood there for a minute and squeeked to us "Don't worry guys, we'll be right back!" like a cheerleader. And she went & got 'em all back on stage. Kim's the bomb.
