This is a squared-up relative of Hex, a great game with a rich literature and culture. The wiki page has a wealth of good links - make sure you play with the "pie rule". And check out Six if you enjoy this sort of thing and want a strong AI opponent. posted by Wolfdog at 11:39 AM on August 5, 2005
