I feel so dizzy! Lovely aerial views. posted by iconomy at 1:18 PM on August 10, 2005
Interesting, I would have called this Antenna Photography since aerial, to me at least, indicates being way up in the air and being able to look down on the ant sized people below. posted by fenriq at 1:22 PM on August 10, 2005

nev, exactly. And do we need an FPP of everyone? But I guess that is for MetaTalk not here. posted by keijo at 12:43 AM on August 11, 2005
The comments under the photos are decent, if a bit dry and technical at times. It's nice to read someone who writes about something they love to do.
Come on, this guy isn't "aspergers", antennas are his job. I'm sure most of you dismissive folks bore people with things you do too---on the internet and off.
Besides, antenna design is a black art---ask an EE. They're machines whose function is almost entirely enabled by their shape---not by exploding gases or transistors or other goings-on hidden beneath the surface. It's always interesting to me when form and function are so tightly intertwined. Sailplanes are the same way.
I won't defend the dude's pun, though. posted by tss at 6:07 AM on August 11, 2005

You didn't figure out that aerial is the preferred British term for antenna? That much should have been obvious from the commentary. posted by kcds at 9:17 PM on August 11, 2005
