Duh, his points are meaningless because of how he looks!

These Jihadist websites that he refers to are set up to distribute news and videos glorifying the movement, and not so much to coordinate planning and attacks. I agree with him that it would be a mistake to take them down, because they would just resurface with that much more legitimacy for having been suppressed.

B-b-b-b-but The Power of Nightmares told me al-Qaeda was fictional! These guys are no more dangerous than Eric Rudolph! They're just misunderstood/noble savages/underdogs/The Other/chickens come home to roost. Feh, radical Western Xtians are just as numerous, heavily armed and globally allied as these guys, and they've digitally recorded just as many decapitations. And Kohlmann's a big Islamophobe. Or something.

That little embedded Flash player app is pretty sweet, though

Thanks Dreamghost. It raises some interesting, if disturbing, questions.

in that video, it quotes the soldier as saying "Amen, these guys are dead now, ya know?" when he's actually saying "I mean, these guys are dead now."

That's pretty cheap considering all the other shit you could complain about.

The bio that jenleigh links to is rather underwhelming - in summary he's a man with a website called globalterroralert.com.

There was a similar documentary about this in the UK, and there's a article about it here.

Oh and isn't this just the same rehashed news story we get whenever it's a slow news day:

[group x] are using the internet to share their perverse world view.

Where [group x] could be paedophiles, fascists, anorexics or islamic extremists. Aren't we bored of this story yet?

Oh and isn't this just the same rehashed news story we get whenever it's a slow news day:

I was intrested by the use of the Web & DVD. From the high production skills to the fact that when they plan an attack they find the best camera angle to capture the attack on film. This really is the first true war fought in the web age and was truely intrigued by there use of of the internet that they can target narrow or broad groups. In fact to me the political aspects of this story is what i found least intresting.
