I must say I was intrigued by this sadistic balloon world. Very clever (in an anti-Toy Story sort of way.)

cool cgi balloonery. Not quite sure i understand all of the parallelisms to the flick d'inspiracion (eg whassup with the desk fan staple gun skeet-shoot?)

So much sound and fury, signifying nothing.

you're saying this is related to reservoir dogs in some way? i'll have to go rewatch it. i remember something about an ear and gasoline, and nothing about a staple gun. huh.

I remember seeing this a few years ago when I was looking at buying Cinema 4D, although this clip looks like a new rendering.

When I saw the balloon guy in the chair, I thought "but he doesn't have any ears to cut off!" And then I realized this was balloon world and everything is different in balloon world.

Balloons do have nipples, though. Sort of. And only one per. But its a start... oh nevermind.

I had thought Wired's Animation Express went off-line some time ago. Is there a way to go in the "front door," so to speak, and browse the animation collection?

wah, no thank you!

As many have noted, its not a perfect recreation and some of its just downright strange. But the look, feel and weirdness of it were cool enough to post, I thought. I'm glad most folks enjoyed or appreciated it.

That was cool!

It's not a direct blow-by-blow, but the location is definitely the same, and the Casio is awesome.

tres cool. I was a bit confused with the balloon pigs and the staple gun, but it was just fantastic. I agree, the Casio made it.

He is torturing the pigs ...

Oh good, this just made it easier for me to watch that brutal scene. My stomach turns when the ear comes off. I wonder how they'd make something to spoof Tim Roth screaming in the back seat of the car, covered in blood...

I loved how the bloodstain was still on the ramp.
