How Far Will This Right Winger Stoop?

"I know this isn’t going to popular on this website, but may I just point something out? A soldier’s #1 job is to stay alive. If you die, you can’t accomplish the mission, and you weaken your team and put your buddies in danger.
[SNIP]
In war, there are no excuses. You find a way to stay alive, whatever it takes — if you’re a good soldier. Sheehan’s son didn’t do that. He paid the price. but he als failed the mission and let down his buddies. As a soldier, he was a failure. He was brave (maybe), but he was also incompetent." (and there's more of this venomous disrespect). (via: annatopia). Right Wingers are frothing at the mouth over Cindy Sheehan. As a veteran of the first Gulf (oil) War, I am appalled at how these supposed patriots who claim to support our troops will put their belief in King George over common decency.

This post was deleted for the following reason: a trolling comment elsewhere doesn't make for a good post and one crackpot comment doesn't represent the entire right wing.

Not FPP material, but indeed a helluva troll.

Wow. I don't know any actual, real veterans who would say that staying alive isn't largely a function of dumb luck.

I don't disagree, but the Sheehan kid didn't quit his job, he got fired.

Right Wingers are frothing at the mouth over Cindy Sheehan.

And it's another tiny step towards their undoing, since more Americans can see themselves in Ms. Sheehan than in George W.

I'm flagging this as a violation of the guidelines.

Exactly. Never mind that casey Sheehan was killed in a helicopter accident. Was that somehow his fault as well?

You can tell the Wingnuts are getting desperate. Also this is the kind of mindset keeping us in Iraq.

All this so you can pay how much at the almighty gas pump?

I love it that not even Bush or Cheney or Rumsfeld can sink so low as to attack that poor woman who had to bury a son, so they have to send forth the more thuggish elements in their coalition, ie the Internet Keyboard Warriors and the talk radio cavemen, all proudly among the front lines in this shameful smear job

Good. Desperate people do stupid things and piss people off. This will alienate the public and make it easier to put a better candidate in office next election.

Ok, this is just a stupid troll. Why does this need to be a FPP? (flagged)

Go tell the Spartans, stranger passing by,

That's an interesting perspective that guy's got there. Interesting in a let's-hook-him-up-to-the-brain-scan-stuff-and-see-what-makes-him-tick kind of way.
