My day has been made again by that BMX bike mailbox in the first link, pure gold and really quite funny.
How was my day made again you ask? Because I saw this over on a pal's blog. Pastor Bates is a naughty, naughty man.

Outside Newellton, LA stands a mailbox at least 20 feet off the ground that you could park a semi-truck inside.

We always used to have problem with our poor old mailbox - it got kicked off the pole or just plain run over too many times to count.
The last time, my father picked up the remains and installed "The Brute". Made of welded steel painted to look like wood and set onto a steel pole that was three feet into the ground with concrete.
Someone left a boot-print on the side of the box, and someone else left headlight glass a little after that. Wish we'd hidden a camera in the bushes...
