Those don't look so terrible to me. It doesn't look like it's been closed for very long. This sight in Korea, on the other hand, creeps the hell out of me.

That kind of environment bodes well for the kind of music I like to listen to. All that's needed to complete the scenario are dark clouds and crows abound.

Um, it might have been creepyer if they'd figured out how to set the white ballance on their camera, or take a good picture. As it is, the photography seems pretty bland to me.

I like the set because I love abandoned places but the pictures don't strike me as creepy at all. Of course I can say that knowing I am on the other side of the world and will never be stuck there alone at night,

Wow, that's the least creepy closed carnival I've ever seen or imagined. Rather bright, actually. And psmeasley, that looks like a harbinger of the end times. Or Cthulhu at the very least.

On a Bahamas sailing trip eight or nine years ago, the boat we were on stopped off at an island that supposedly had some great reefs to snorkel. We discovered upon arrival that the island had been used as a resort by Disney, as part of the "Big Red Boat" cruise thing. However, access issues forced them to abandon it, and it was literally abandoned without any care as to the property- we found stage costumes scattered all over the ground, entire restaurant kitchens still somewhat intact (although very scavenged), bunk beds infested with critters- it literally looked like everyone just got up and left. We never did get to see the reefs because the path to them was so overgrown we couldn't pass. But, being a bunch of unsupervised 14-18 year olds, we spent our time productively destroying everything we could. Good times.
