Nerds:// !

"I come from Harvard... there's no testin' me, 1-6-double-doughnut on the S.A.T..." Gates raps! I've seen references to this around the web a couple of times, but I just discovered I had a friend who is actually in it. Yes, Nerds:// the Musical! is about to open its limited run at the Beckett Theatre for the New York Musical Theatre Festival and, from what he's saying about the response to previews and earlier runs, your next chance to see it might involve much heftier ticket prices. Will Bill come? Will Steve? Woz might!

So who do you know in the show?

All kidding aside, the New York Musical Theatre Festival is a really exciting for New York City, and judging from the quality of last year's shows, I'm really excited for this year.

According to an official press release on theatre gossip board, All That Chat, the run of the show is sold out, but they've added two extra performances.

Yeah, I know it was on /. , but my friend Bill Selby (Forbidden Broadway alumnus and world-class Katharine Hepburn imitator, who's playing IBM's Tom Watson as some kind of evil lunatic, apparently) got in touch with everyone to tell them if they don't want to pay Broadway prices to see it while it's at the NYMTF. I can't make it, dammit.

I would specifically avoid this show like the plague, just because of the name, same as I avoid every CyberC@fe from here to Batngkok...

I heard that Bill Gates got a 1590, not a 1600. So that musical is inaccurate.

Or the random websites I read are inaccurate. Or both.
