So what the fuck are the 9 rules? They talk a lot about leverage and how cool they all are - though I question how they can be heading for 10^10 sites and keeping with the whole "high quality" thing - but I want to know what the damn rules are! posted by freebird at 2:17 PM on September 8, 2005

I like the design of the page, but each of the sites seems to be 'quality' but rather boring or thin, at least the few I clicked on to. posted by cell divide at 2:26 PM on September 8, 2005

Even if all they're doing is asking people with good sites to join their network, it will make a nice index of worth while stuff. Too bad they're couching it in so much wankery. posted by joegester at 2:30 PM on September 8, 2005

Flags immediately go up when there are explicit "quality of user" definitions. Seems snobby (to mince words). Define "discerning." posted by tpl1212 at 2:34 PM on September 8, 2005

tpl1212 if you're discerning you don't enter that group..but then again being discerning isn't enough to enter that. posted by elpapacito at 2:39 PM on September 8, 2005
Well, now their site is dead. posted by delmoi at 2:40 PM on September 8, 2005
I thought that 9 Rules went off the air after John Ritter died. That would explain why the link isn't working. posted by esquire at 2:40 PM on September 8, 2005
