I wonder if one will be able to set up the keyboard to work as a news channel ticker. THAT would be neat.

Theoretically each key could be an individual ticker, feed, video, or self-refreshing page.

Though the mind boggles at how to handle and manage all that video/data.

Be sure to check out this page where they verify that the keyboard will be produced, hopefully in 2006, and available worldwide. In another interview, I remember them saying it would be in the $300-$500 range- well worth it for the power this interface would give you, IMO. Imagine, every keyboard shortcut for a program showed to you on the keys, and probably even context senstive if you hold a modifier down! Layers and layers of keyboard overlays!!
