This Gallery of Posters from Exploitation Movies is far too brief, but is still better than not having ANY exploitation movie posters. Apparently the gallery is just a teaser for an exhibit & a book.

If I ever become a murderer, I hope I will be known in the papers as The Black-Tights Killer.

scody, apparently the original title of that movie is Ore Ni Sawara To Abunaize. Somebody who speaks better Japanese is free to correct me, but I think that translates to It's Dangerous to Touch Me. And that's a good title.

It's good to see someone is reading Posterwire.com. ;)

jca; I wish I could claim to be that diverse; sadly I just got it off another blog (coolios, specifically). Perhaps THEY read posterwire.com?

jonson, you might be interested in the 12 x 9 " print book Trash: The Graphic Genius of Exploitation Movie Posters, by Jacques Boyreau from Chronicle Books (San Francisco, 2002). Big, wonderful prints on slick, heavy stock, suitable for razoring out and framing. I found my copy at the Daedalus warehouse store for ten bucks. But if you're seeking prints, avoid the crappy Bruce Hershenson Movie Posters series of books, which prints 5 tiny images to an 8.5 x 11 page.

I used to date a movie theater manager who insisted on calling them one-sheets.
