Neat.

For a highly enjoyable novel about a German refugee on the run from the Nazis in the early days of WWII I recommend Erich Remarque's (of All Quiet on the Western Front) novel A Night in Lisbon. Although fictional, he was also a German refugee and encapsulated the refugee life well in this short and easy to read novel.

An unfortunately rambling and disorganized memoir. But that is a neat quote.
