Boobs 4 Bourbon St. Brit, Justin Ross, wanting to help out with the Katrina recovery came up with a novel idea to raise money. Use what NOLA is known for best. Boobies. So far a treasure chest of $14K has been raised [via here's my byline]

New Orleans is known for a lot of things more than boobies. As a matter of fact the whole moronic "show me your tits" thing is a fairly recent phenomenon (in the old days, if you had to ask, you weren't going to get to see any). Better things to know New Orleans for would be: food, music, booze, gambling, losing yourself... so on and so forth.

squirrel, that's why I appreciated the novel Ferengi stance on female nudity on ST:TNG -- if the female form is covered, the male gets a little too excited wondering what's hidden from view underneath; if it's visible, ehhh, no big deal.
