I wonder why the resent resurgence of this? I've seen it around the net this past week a lot.
I also saw it 3 years ago, so it's not very 'time sensitive'. Although the Michael Moore link as the second entry is new (since the last time I saw it [3 years ago]).

I particularly like the URL for the link. You'd think it would be just a link to Google, but instead it's a redirect through a Yahoo! server, with all kinds of other garbage thrown in.

dear ashbury, I'm so sorry. I think you're probably a fine human being, and under most circumstances wouldn't deserve the flaming pile-on that's about to happen.
this time you most decidedly do, however.

now, normally double posts are bad, but not horrible, but then when you realize that MY MOM knew about this before even the original two year old mefi post happened... well, it's a little absurd. although, some things that work in your defense:
Mefi search for "google failure" (no quotes in search)
mefi search for "miserable failure" (with quotes in search)
So, it's a little understandable. But then a mefi search for failure, while dense, can reveal plenty.
but hey, the scorching of today's lash will make you wiser for future posts.
Hint: confess early with plenty of humility and penitance. They'll go easy on you.
