Playing Flickr is a public space installation by Mediamatic on the 11th floor of the PostCS building in Amsterdam. Diners in Restaurant 11 can use their mobile phones to submit a keyword of their choice, which will later appear on the surrounding screens with corresponding Flickr photographs tagged with that word or words.

I like it. The restaurant seems too hip to be good, though.

if you like stuff like this you should check out artmoco, and we-make-money-not-art, gridskipper, the itenerate boingboing, and perhaps aurgasm.

i think maybe half of all mefi posts perhaps more starts at one of these sites.

That would be fun though I would totally be using only keywords that would show my pictures.

I wouldn't mind a picture frame at home that could do this sort of thing. Give it a few keywords to pull photos from and it'll call down images randomly.

I really really really wish people would stop this. Your favourite sites are not everyone else's favourite sites. There are lots of different ways of getting to the same page. Please stop assuming other people take the same path as you. They don't. Your favourtie sites suck.

If I were there I would use "boobs" as my keyword, because who doesn't want to look at boobs while they eat?
