Candidate: Vice-Chairman of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting

Credentials: charter member and a chairman of GOPAC, the Republican fundraising group used by Newt Gingrich to engineer the GOP takeover of the House in 1994. Interior decorator by training.

Looking over this list makes me rue the day that I listened to my parents and went to college to get an education. If I'd been smart, I would have sold out fast an early and become a well-paid Republican bootlicker.

Boring, yet somewhat informative. I kinda wish it had been "Where's Waldo amidst disaster." Less tasteful, by far, but less boring, too.

I wish there would have been a real brownie waiting for me.

Not much there yet, but could be useful as time goes on.

I love seeing "brownie" spread as an eponym meaning "unqualified person who got an important job through political or personal connections." It's so useful.

Barjo's right--and it's kind of similar to brownosing, which makes it all the more fitting.

I agree, it is fun to see it spread.

A heck of a post.

The objective of this blog is to find an important government job occupied by a person with no apparent qualifications other than strong personal, political, or business ties to a member of the administration.

There you have it. Is posting a bit of information about you link too much to ask? It's a noble cause, but 60% of people would find this site a waste of time; why not tip them off?

There you go. Have some milk, too.

Not much yet, but it's a great idea. I agree with the comments to make the link clearer, however.

Heck of a job.

I thought about posting this till i saw how little there was so far. But it's doubled since last nite, so maybe it's something to watch.

I don't think this guy can track them all down by himself, so people need to know about the blog to submit stuff.

Oh, via should point to memepool.com, which also has this today.

Is there some good reason to omit the candidates' names?

Could be punchier. One can rue and laugh at the same time. Send this guy a big box of what Wonkette's smoking.
