I couldn't find the video, and I'm not sure that I care, really. Sorry. But on this page on the same site, there's an extraordinary essay by Bernard Fall, written in 1964 and nicked from here that I wouldn't have read otherwise, so a convoluted thanks to objet.

For the record it explains why the U.S. were going to lose in Vietnam, and why they're going to lose in Iraq. It seems the military like having experts as long as they don't have to pay any attention to what they say.

Bernard Fall and Street Without Joy were also major influences on Col. David Hackworth (Ret.), who was one of the most knowledgeable voices on the US military and what was wrong with it (and right with it) until his death earlier this year.
