Evanion Catalogue

The Evanion Catalogueat the British Library has a huge collection of high-res images (mostly advertisements) relating to Victorian entertainment and everyday life. I had the most fun browsing the subject index. I couldn't resist the Abnormalities - Human category, where I found a poster advertising The Frog Man. Some more mundane things also. Something for everyone here.

Cool, but I wish it had a full-text search for everything in the ads. There's a lot of text there that's unindexed.

I've been enjoying looking at all the magician posters. Keyword: magic.

These are awesome. I love the sideshow ones. Any chance of getting frameable reproductions?
