The Online Journalism Awards were presented yesterday. Winners include Salon.com (my personal favorite), MSNBC.com and News.com (for the coverage of Microsoft's case).

Score one for the little guy: my old employer, cleveland.com (don't laugh) won the category for Service Journalism: In Collaboration, for their guide to nursing homes in Ohio. They were the only local news and information site to win an award, and beat out heavy hitters like Consumer Reports and Weather.com. Go figure.
