This is almost so cool. I somehow chafe at the artsy veneer, and the obtuse flash design. Either way, nice post. I have often thought unDuLe is taking over my life . . . STRAFE!

As I said when somebody posted this on a forum I frequent, I notice that these are all MMO players. ...although I suppose that makes it especially incredible that they have any kind of success in the real world.

Can anyone find the photos in the craptacular flash interface? The ones in the BBC story are too small to appreciate what's going on in there.

Target Practice, unless by "all MMO players" you mean "none of these people play MUDs," I don't understand what you're getting at. People who play MMOs are far more connected to their in-game personas than someone playing Counterstrike or Warcraft III, especially in the sense that each person has a more or less unique visual avatar (except for the Eve Online example with the guy who transports gold for a living). In other words, when you're playing Day of Defeat, you're "Allied Scout." When you're playing City of Heroes, you're a specific personality.
