No sweat, down here in Texas. There ain't none.

We learned early on to find a reliable source of meat/fish/poultry. The Kroger in town is pretty durn good. No complaints. The Albertson's closer to home has been iffy.

um, or, reasons not to eat meat, or reasons to shop co-op.

Cub's pretty scary to begin with. Not as scary as, say, Aldi. But scary.

Nothing could be scarier than Aldi's. Even the Super WalMart is fairly presentable in comparison.

Hehe. Aldi is like a horroshop by itself. I mean, you pay a quarter to go in, don't you?

Do people actually go to Aldi? Every time I drive by any of the several in town or out of town, the parking lot is empty.

... or reasons to cook your meat. Or reasons to ask for irradiated meat by name.

We shop at Aldi. They have some good deals! Plus the one we shop at is down the block from CFD Engine 71 so that's a little bonus.

This wasn't Cub Foods' fault. It was the meat-packer, and there's no guarantees there. The entire industry is getting worse as govt. regulation is trimmed and output is stepped up and mechanized.
