Letters If your screen isn't facing anyone, it looks like you're doing work. Happy flash friday everyone!
got to about 500 before it felt like my heart was going to punch through my chest and run out of the office. don't play this one if you've got any kind of aversion to repetitive stress.

Got to just over a thousand and a W got by and I attempted to punch it.
I believe I may be over-caffeinated.

Got in finally, had to keep retrying. I'm a good typist, but 781 was the best I could do in one try... the letters aren't in patterns, and I don't type individual letters well anymore.
Good game.

Kind of like the graffiti game on the older Palms, a little easier though since its a key press instead of a stylus stroke.
I have no sound on my work computer, do the letters make good noises when they blow up? They should. It would be even cooler if, say the G, broke and sounded like breaking glass. Or the Z sounds like a braying zebra. But maybe that's just asking too much.

I can't stop playing it even though I'm not good at it and my neck hurts from the tension.

Except for the steady stream of vulgarity and physical assaults directed toward the PC. Then again, maybe that does look like work.

This is supposed to be fun? It reminds me of all the indignities I suffered at the hands of that shrew Mavis Beacon.

Does this cause spontaneous giggling in anyone else? Great link, thank you BuddhaInABucket.

BTW, what do the things from the left do? I didn't read the instructions, and then they started popping up. I figured if I kept typing, I could ignore them, and that worked pretty well but now I'm curious.

I can't type worth a shit if it's just random letters. I can almost-sorta touch type with two fingers when I'm making real words.

If you hit a letter when it's near a bomb, it destroys everything surrounding it.
If you hit a letter when it's near a star, it gives you ten extra points.
If you hit a letter when it's near a clock, it slows the game down for a few seconds.

I have the feeling if it were words instead of letters, I might do better. Fun though!

words are easier? just combine the letters to sound-out fake words in your head then

Man I suck at this. You'd think with the unceasing torrent of pointless strings of characters that crapflood out of my keyboard on an hourly basis I'd be better at this.
