Mortal Kombat! Test your might... by being able to watch the whole thing. And yet, still somehow better than the actual movie. (WMV link)

Is that boy wearing women's pants?

As a long-time MK fan, I have to say that this is hillarious. The bicycle kick was my favorite part, I think.

In all honesty, the first Mortal Kombat movie wasn't too bad. Probably the only watchable game-to-movie movie I've ever seen. The sequel though... *shudder*

So this is what happens when you combine geek sensibilities with hipster style/haircuts. My favorite is when the character names come up and one of the two is apparently urinating in the closet.

I failed the challenge to watch the whole thing.

Boys getting girl haircuts and wearing girl pants are "in" apparently. Its like the '80s all over again.

Wonderful.

That song is hilarious, and it almost saved the video. But....not quite. Anyone remember the Undeclared ep with that as the soundtrack to a chase scene? Awesome.

The MK theme song! This brings back memories of me playing the Mortal Kombat cassette (before mp3s were even a gleam in your father's eye) for my very young son, who was obsessed with all things MK. This song in particular was played over and over and over. I really like it and am now going to listen to it about 20 times in a row. And hunt down the cassette, even though the theme song and the song about Johnny Cage were the only two good songs on it.

My nephew (19) wears girl's lowrise jeans and he has a girl bowl haircut. He looks cute.

I found the "Lend a Hand" poster in the background to be the most interesting part of the video.

Woman/Girl pants? The knee-length shorts or the jeans?

Wouldn't pants cut for women not, like, fit very well... oh. Right. Nevermind.

With the particularly harsh (and accurate) criticism of how easy it is to beat MK with just "lo-punch" in the middle, I get the idea that it wasn't supposed to be funny, but rather a deep look at the gameplay advancements through the entire MK franchise.

Or it was two jerks with no sense of shame dancing around for three minutes. I want my giggle back.

Things I liked:

The T-shirts over the faces.

The dude with his pants down in the corner during the "Sonya" bit.

The cheap-arse lightning blast.

The fatality.

That was not good and in being not good it made me laugh and that made it good which made me feel bad.

I am not mighty. I capitulated after 30 seconds and closed the browser window.

As mentioned above, the first movie isn't bad... well... almost. Johnny Cage made it worthwhile.

Praga Khan lemme rock you
Lemme rock you Praga Khan
Lemme rock you that's all I wanna do...

(For t3h n00bs, Praga Khan is - in addition to being part of Lords of Acid, Channel X, Digital Orgasm and several other things - the co-writer of the MORTAL KOMBAT techno tune.)

The part where they are accurately reenacting the actual game's animation is dead on.

I actually enjoyed that, although it was a bit repetitive after a while. But who can resist some kid distorting his mouth yelling "MORTAL COMBAT!"?

Not I.

If you make a silly music video for the Mortal Kombat theme, I think that's pretty cool.

If you then use a kitschy household item to simulate Raiden's lightning, I'm fairly impressed.

If you then tell me that you pull your correctly-colored shirt over your face to emulate Scorpion and Sub Zero, while exposing your midriff to emulate Sonya, I reverently fellate you while holding back tears.
