I've noticed an inverse ratio between various sins that keeps me from doing anything too stupid. For example: the amount of anger or greed I may have which could lead me into error is usually offset by sloth. I'd rob a bank for more money, but then I'd have to get off the couch, get a gun, do the robbery, count all the money - it's too much a pain in the ass. (Assuming of course some additional resistance from internal morality). It's so much easier to just stay on the couch, jack off, and take a nap than going out finding some broad, nailing her, and working on a good cover story. But this seems to eliminate the energy factor in having to think up an alibi and do the actual work involved to cheat on your wife (given you are predisposed to that anyway). Seriously though, I'm not surprised privacy has become scarce enough to become a commodity.
