Odd Films: Hungry for films on food? Pining for movies about dead pets? Can't get enough substance-abuse flicks? Perhaps you want to catch a glimpse of Elvis/Nixon/Nixon&Elvis? All these and many more are included in this somewhat crudely presented, but surprisingly comprehensive list of strange and/or indy cinema.

This link did appear tangentially towards the tail end of this year-old post, so I hope this isn't too much of an egregious double. The site is updated fairly regularly, and although it's a bit hit-and-miss, I've found a lot of enjoyable cinema through it!

Low marks for including I Went Down, an Irish movie about Irish people in Ireland, in the 'Ill Mannered British People' section. Lower marks for actually realising and mentioning it's an Irish film in the review.

This one must have been compiled before Primer came out.

I like to have plenty of lists like this, ugly or not, stored away for a few years from now when my Netflix queue finally runs out. And I think Primer was left out because it belongs in a "Completely Incomprehensible Movies About the Future" list. Not sure what Memento is doing there though.
